With the demise of the Leader Local Newspaper, Rosanna Rotarian, Stan Gorr, was searching for an idea to get local news out to the community of Banyule.
Realising that most people source information from their mobile phones these days they established a domain and the Banyule Community News website was born.
This publication is open to any community groups, schools, sporting clubs and government bodies such as the police, ambulance, fire stations, etc.
There will be organisations such as U3A, Probus, Rotary, Lions, theatre companies, bird watching groups and other community based not-for-profit groups submitting articles.
The Ivanhoe Homes will be presenting items on a regular basis to keep the local community informed of our activities and the services we provide.
Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Rosanna which has, after a lot of hard work, launched this wonderful new initiative.
