29th August Music Night
Music nights saw 9 residents attend. As usual they raved and enjoyed the night with full gusto. Our dedicated trio introduced quite a few new songs which is evident of their great commitment to Ryder-Cheshire Ivanhoe Homes. Adding to their 10 year gig with us, they also ensure the residents have new and fresh material that clearly requires extra time for rehearsals. We are very fortunate to have them.
Marty, now also a regular, never ceases to amaze us with his music and voice. He has moved from the Ivanhoe Homes to a permanent local residence to be close to the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital to receive ongoing treatment. He is looking fabulously well and he is certainly kicking goals.
All in all, we are all winners and it was lovely sharing this much needed time, space and music with everyone.
