A wonderful day was had by all celebrating Christmas together. As in previous years, our resident carers, committee members and volunteers all pitched in to put on a magnificent lunch for everyone to enjoy. Thanks go to Anne for orchestrating the day.
The room was filled with much chatter, cheer, delight and everyone left with full bellies, pressies, glee and the comfort of having celebrated Christmas. As a memento of their stay, each resident was given a surprise Christmas present being a copy of our book “A Safe Haven”.
A special free raffle bonus prize was also on offer. Our President, Peter was the Master of Ceremonies and announced and presented the Maggie Beer Hamper prize to past resident John Bond.
