The traditional ways that Bunnings supports local community groups and charities has changed due to COVID-19, so they have had to get creative to support them in a different way. Bunnings selected special acts of kindness submitted from their teams across Australia and New Zealand.  These acts of kindness needed to be inspiring and display Bunnings values.   Each team nominated a not for profit group or charity to be supported. The Ivanhoe Homes was nominated by our local team at Bunnings Fairfield.

In particular, the project of creating a prototype  kitchen, to upgrade the resident kitchen facilities, was voted the most inspiring entry in Victoria.

Across Australia and New Zealand, a total of 60 not for profit community groups and charities were nominated and over $300,000 will be donated among these groups.

The Ivanhoe Homes are delighted to be one of the recipients of this grant.

On top of this, our local Fairfield Bunnings Store has chosen to champion

The Ivanhoe Homes by donating a further

$1000 worth of Bunnings Vouchers for the Kitchen prototype.
